There has been a pub on this site since the 1700's. Rebuilt in late 1890's and again in1929 (both due to fires), the pub was extensively re-furbished in 2024. There is an emphasis on dining but it is still possible to just have a beer in the bar area or in the large outside drinking area that overlooks Cookham Moor. Bed & breakfast accommodation is available.
