The reduced price of OIRO £310,000 is the first figure officially mentioned, although we were led to believe that they expected to receive a minimum of £350k. Having not managed to dispose of the pub they seem to be getting desperate but I cannot see a small developer taking a chance following the earlier publicity regarding the Council resisting changes of use. Also the recent refusal of planning permission for the Crooked Billet site, just down the road, can only help.
