Wellington have put the Swan, Clewer (West Windsor) up for sale after trying to find tenants for over a year. I wonder why!

A meeting was recently held at Windsor & Eton Brewery to see if there was any interest in saving the pub, last in this area. Three other local pubs have closed nearby. Following on from this a group of locals are seeking funding urgently to make a bid to buy the pub from Wellington Pubco. by 4th April deadline. Asset of Community Value nomination has been submitted but is likely to be contested by Wellington Pub Company so won’t be in place by the deadline.
